Hi,

I have an odd SMS message display problem I cant resolve.

For some reason when I open SMS messages on my PPC Pro (running in a
HTC TYTN2), the window has started to open at the bottom of the
message which leaves the content of the actual message off screen. I
therefore have to press the up button in order to be able to see the
text of the message.

Its only a small thing, but its really irritating. I've tried the
reboot it approach, but this has not cured the problem.

Can anyone offer any suggestions as to how I might cure this as there
are no configurable options available in the messaging app that I can
find in order to sort this out.

TIA,

Colin

This is a known issue, was introduced with WM6, but still is there.

Hi Jaap,

How have you come to know of this issue? I've not been able to find
anything on it at all? If you have any links to articles on it, would
you be so kind as to copy them here please. Particularly if there are
any fixes or work-arounds for it.

Thanks,

Colin

It is posted in a bugtracker, but it isn't public what the known issues of
the platform are.

A fellow WM6 user has kindly sent me a fix, basically changing this
registry value:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Navigation\4-
Way Nav

From 0 to 1, which does the trick, but at the same time breaks
scrolling in Pocket IE (or rather changes scrolling to link
jumping).

Are there any further advances on this? Or are we doomed until 6.1
arrives?
