Hi,

I use SS 2005

I set:
max mem 2147483647 MB
awe is checked
SS is using only 100MB about

from task manager : 5 GB is used
the sum of all wotking set for all process is about 500MB
any clue ?

Thanks in advance

You are fine. When you use AWE with SQL Server 32-bit, the "extra"
memory allocated through AWE does not display in the process list
in Task Manager.

But if Page File Usage is 5GB, SQL Server is really using the memory -
unless you can see that some other process have all that memory.

IF AWE is enabled, you can not see memory utilization in Task Manager.
