Half the times when we run a test it's bringing down the drive being tested and that is also bringing down SQL Server due to the dependency.

Command being run:
sqlio -kW -s10 -fsequential -o8 -b8 -LS -Fparam.txt timeout /T 10

Values in param.txt:
H:\testfile.dat 2 0x0 50000

Cluster resource 'H' (resource type '', DLL 'clusres.dll') either crashed or deadlocked. The Resource Hosting Subsystem (RHS) process will now attempt to terminate, and the resource will be marked to run in a separate monitor.

We didn't have an issue running the same test on Windows 2008 SP2. I am wondering if Win2008 R2 is supported.

Any ideas??

Are you running into any issue with running sqlio.exe on Windows Server 2008?
I'd expect the current release of sqlio.exe to work fine on Windows Server
2008.

SQLIO Server 2008
Is anyone aware of a SQLIO version approved for Server 2008?
We are having an issue with SQLIO becoming unresponsive on a Server 2008
cluster. I'd like to try the newest version if available.

What SQLIO are you referring to?
What SQLIO are you referring to? If you are referring a command line utility
called sqlio.exe that you can download from MS, it has nothing to do with SQL
Server, and therefore nothing to do with any SQL Server verison.

Server 2008 not SQL Server 2008. We are not installing SQL until we have
evidence the disks can support our needs.
