I tried to open SQL Server Management Studio and it gives an error message
"The application failed to initialize property (0x00000135). Click on OK to
terminate the application"

And even I tried to open SQL Server Configuration Manager and it gives an
error message "Snap-in failed to initialize, Name: SQL SErver Configuration
Manager CLSID:{CA9F8727-31DF-41D2-975C-887D84903967}

I tried to reinstall or repair but no joy. What can I do next please?

sound like an installation problem. did you check the setup log to see
what's wrong.
