Prev: [Samba] When is Create Temporary File Request used?
Next: Unable to access linux files from windows using samba configured in linux Vmware
From: Chris Hall on 24 Apr 2008 11:00 Has anyone had this problem? Upgrading from 3.0.24 to 3.0.28 (across several networks and systems was able to replicate this problem) Building 3.0.28 as a file server, no problems, and building as a DFS server yields no problems connecting from native windows clients. However, if users browse a DFS share from a Windows Terminal Server, it will cause explorer to crash and restart itself. Logs samba-side indicate user closed connection. Windows side says a fault caused explorer.exe to crash. Has anybody experienced anything like this? If so, is there a fix available?
