DIY hardware for scan and record without computer I need a diy hardware for record the scanner output directly to memory card and operate the scanner without a computer. A4 EPP scanner software won't work with XP and Vista, anyone? hi, I bought me an A4 flatbed scanner many years back and have used it to full satisfaction in Windows 98, but now I have a new PC with Vista, and updated my old to XP, and both don't seem to work with the provided software for this scanner. About white dots(arti-fact) and noise I'm using Canon All-in-one Pixma MP830 scanner and have to ask something which are weird. Connect Minolta 5400 to 2 PCs? I have a Minolta DimageScan Elite 5400 (the original) hooked up to an older PC via Firewire. I just purchased a new PC (Photoshop CS2 was running too slowly on the old machine). The filmscanner has both Firewire and USB outputs.
