HP 5500c carriage won't move more than 2" Hi, I've got a ScanJet 5500c and when I go to scan, it only moves the carriage about 2 inches, then back, then 2 inches again, then back. Bulk scanning service for thousand of photos and slides I spent a few days going through my boxes full of photos spanning the period 1970-2006. I have about two thousand photos to be scanned.
