I have the Epson V500 Scanner. Does Epson's Backlight Compensation do anything different than Adobe Photoshop's Image Adjustments? HP 4670 Setup
Has anybody had success at setting new default settings for the HP 4670/4600 "See Thru" scanner? It would appear that its default settings cannot be changed or reset, forcing time consuming resets for every single scan. Thoughts of others? Scanner not recognizing OCR software
I have a Canon PIXMA MP450 which came with an old version of ScanSoft Omnipage software. I deleted the Omnipage and installed Omnipage Pro 14. I set it up with the scanner and it recognizes it. Scanner recommendation (3x5 negatives, paper, etc.)
Recommendations for a scanner. Uses: - 3 x 5 negatives. Really, they are more like x-rays. it's results from dna testing. - Also for general use. - NOT high volume, maybe 30-40 scans a month. 5x4 glass negatives w/Visioneer 9420?
Anybody got any ideas on scanning 5x4" glass negatives using a Visioneer 9420 scanner? "Reflective" mode is very washed out unless I can turn off the scanner light source.
