From: ConorW on 5 May 2008 14:47 Hello, Does MS project link with MS outlook to create meeting schedules based on what you put in your project plan or email project deadline reminders to those impacted by the project? Thanks Conor
From: JulieS on 5 May 2008 16:40 Hello ConorW, If you are using Project 2007, on the tracking toolbar is a "Set Reminder" button that will copy the selected task information to Outlook. You can then add a reminder to the task in Outlook. However, if the schedule changes the Outlook task will not update. To get a richer collaboration between Project and Outlook, you'd need in implement Project Server. You may find an add-on product to Project that may help. See the companion products page at: http://project.mvps.org/comprods.htm I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
