From: Heath Raftery on 7 May 2008 00:01 I used to use Vine Server to VNC a 1280x1024 screen to my work PC. Now I'm on Leopard with a 1920x1200 + 1600x1200 dual monitor setup and want to continue to have VNC access. The entire desktop however, simply has too many pixels to be useful over VNC, so I am looking for a solution where I can specify (at least) which monitor to share, or (ideally) a scrollable window of arbitrary size. I believe this would be best done on the server side and suspect this will not be a VNC-standard feature, but am willing to be shown wrong. FWIW, I use TightVNC as the client but am not married to it. -- *--------------------------------------------------------* | ^Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool^ | | Heath Raftery, HRSoftWorks _\|/_ | *______________________________________m_('.')_m_________* |
