From: Phyllis Ellis on 12 Aug 2005 07:24 I am using PowerPoint 2003 and am trying to insert scrolling text, like the ones seen in film credits. I have followed all the instructions in the help menu but the following options do not appear, "apply to selected slides," and "credit." Any suggestions?
From: tohlz on 12 Aug 2005 07:47 there are few ways in achieving that. If you want something like the credits in movie, Drag the text off below the slide, so that the text does not show up during presentation at the beginning. Right click on the text and select custom animation. Then Add Effect > Motion Paths > Up Lengthen the motion path line so that it goes over the top of the slide. What topic did you search for in the Help files, Phyllis? "Apply to selected slides" would show up on the transitions task pane as opposed to the custom animation task pane, and you really should be using custom animations (credits) for this type of effect. If you can help steer me toward the Help instrux, we can probably figure out what's going wrong. -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com
