From: LQQK on 2 Feb 2006 23:48 After running a drive checking software from seagate, I got the message that two of my drive - the primary drive and another logical drive have: "errors found in index" "errors found in metadata file records" "other errors found" The other drive gave the following message: "failed with critical errors" "one or more errors found in metadata file records". From browsing this matter I have some suspicion that Partition magic (or my amateurish use of) may have been the reason. Don't know but would like to. Since I fear drive failure or data loss (although I am backed up of course - after seeing these I went out finally and bought a dvd burner). Any comments recommendations would be very much appreciated. tbuckley^canada.com (^ = @)
