Hi Folks

My wife used to have a Qtek 9100 PDA-phone. This phone has a free-text
search function that finds appointments, persons and other things in the
internal databases. Her new HTC S710 does not have such a function and she
misses it a lot.

Is such a thingie available anywhere? Payware is OK.

TIA

Ebbe

They list up to WM5, don't recall if the 710 is 5 or 6, but the trial is
free.

Non Touch screen devices do not hace a search function. I recommend
you download Total Commander from http://www.ghisler.com/download.htm.
It has a Search function and it's free.

Thanks for the hint, Sven.

The 710 is WM6 but I'll give SmartPhoneFind a try anyway. If it works, it's
only $11.95.

Okay, that clears that one up.

I know Total Commander very well, it's one of the first programs to go onto
my own PDA if/when I need to hard reset it. Unfortunately it's a bit too
capable and therefore too complicated for my wife. But thanks for the hint.
