My Mother in Laws computer says a new version of shockwave must be installed
everytime it tries to run. I have followed the help I found online and to
save listing everything I have tired here is the link that I have used...

http://www.shockwave.com/help/faq_flashplayer.jsp

I have tried everything suggested and it still won't work. I was also told
to check a setting in QuickTime to make sure it hadn't taken control but
this also checked out ok.

She has Norton and I have turned off the Firewall and checked no pop up
blockers are running anywhere.

Has anyone got a way I can't find out why this isn't running and then know
what I have to do to rectify it?

There are no pop up messages or security questions when trying to run, just
keeps asking for a newer version.

Thanks

Graham

I had the same problem with another PC after installing a new game. I
got the latest version but nothing changed. I finally found a codec
set which fixed the problem.

OK thanks Sandy!
