Following error message appear when signing in to Windows Live or MSN Messenger



We can't sign you in to Windows Live Messenger

Signing in to Windows Live Messenger failed because the service is
temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.



Cause for the problem


Incorrect Date and Time settings



Suggestions



1. Double Click on the Time at the System tray (Lower right corner of
the screen)

2. Adjust the Date and Time (Make sure Year is correct)

3. Click Okay

4. Try signing in to Windows Live or MSN Messenger

Greetings Huss,

Are you sure your time/date is correct? Because Messenger uses SSL (secure sockets layer) to
securely sign you in, having your date out of sync will cause this message to come up.
