Anybody here having problems getting a 2.6.24.4 kernel to boot? mine gets stuck for about on udevtrigger then gets stuck indefinitely with the following message: Using /etc/random-seed to initialize /dev/urandom. I often need to do: search the current dir-tree, for all files of *.Mod, containing <a text string> These *.Mod files are 'text' except for containing some non-ascii strings and all lines are terminated by Char(13) instead of Char(10). Bought a new printer. 10.0 couldn't handle it. Massive upgrade necessary. Arg... Been running 10.0 on an ASUS CUBX and Cel 500 w/ 512 meg RAM. A comfy and mature install years old now.
