From: Frank L on 8 Sep 2005 20:00 Gary, If your happy and things are nice, you should stay with what you have if it works good for you. That's the Bottomline. I probably won't upgrade because I have come to realize that S4Producer has all and more than what I need. The roland Voice thing might be cool, but not enough for me. And I have the machine for it, just do not need it. From: Max Arwood on 9 Sep 2005 03:41 I read a note from one of the cake people. It said that S5 will install on W2k and "probably" run on Win2K. They also said that they only wanted to support XP and x64 because they lack the manpower to support more operating systems than this. I guess I could see this with their programming heading to 64bit windows and Sonar64. I might try S5 on 2K. Lots of trouble to go to XP. Still have not used my Halion3 because it is XP only. Sounds like the same thing with Gigastudio 3. Some run it on W2K. I was one of those who couldn't. I have found some things do run better on XP though. |
