From: Max Arwood on 17 Oct 2006 13:29 This is a short clip of Sonar 6. I have used s6 for a while, and am totally blown away with some of its features. Like AudioSnap and VSC64. I will admit I have found a few bugs in s6, but when these are out, it will be a killer App! Dropping timed loops on non strict timed music is unbelievable. I also like setting the timing/grid to non strictly timed audio parts. You might have already seen this but for those who have not: http://www.sonicstate.com/news/shownews.cfm?newsid=3588# (Look for the yellow strip to choose video format) Max Arwood
From: Neil Rutman on 18 Oct 2006 12:22 Thanks for the link to the video Max. I've got to say being able to change the tempo on an entire song is pretty impressive. It's hard to tell the sound quality from the video but if it's good that is a very impressive feature. Also being able to have loops adjust to live instruments (or vica versa I suppose) is a more useful feature I believe than when I orignally read about S6 new features. Tell me more about VSC 64. Can you use multiple instances without crapping out? Much more powerful and VERY versatile. Also low CPU. Gonna type some more about S6 when I get a little time. Max Arwood
From: Max Arwood on 18 Oct 2006 16:50 Forgot this... Time stretching is exceptional. It is from izotope. Listen to the examples here: http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/radius/ Max Arwood "Neil Rutman" <neilrutman(a)bigfoot.com> wrote in message news:gvOdnWsn-etLyavYnZ2dnUVZ_rSdnZ2d(a)speakeasy.net... > Thanks for the link to the video Max. Sure looked like it @ the Sonar tour last nite! I'll report back after I've installed. BTW, those of you who are running S6, what system specs are you running it on?
