I just installed Sonar5P. No errors upon install. I did not migrate any
settings.

Launched Sonar5 right after install, Sonar5 profiles my audio card, then
shows "tip of the day". OK that dialog, then:

"SONARPDR.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close."

I tried adding the Sonar5 executable to DEP exclusion (Sonar4 has an entry
there), no joy.

I deleted AUD.INI, same sequence and crash.

With AUD.INI already in place, launch Sonar5, it shows "tip of the day",
then crashes.

De-selected "tip of the day" and OK that, crash. Next launch Sonar5 just
crashes without "tip of the day".

Uninstalled Sonar5 (using "custom" and selecting everything), reboot,
registry clean, reboot, reinstall, no error messages, no joy.

I have a LOT of work to get done right now!!! Thankfully Sonar4 is
unaffected by this and continues to work well. Other apps on my system are
also OK.

Anyone run into this or have any ideas I could try?

I actually posted this in the forum too <gasp>!

Thanks as always :)

I know you know, but I'll ask anyway. Did you reboot after install?

G'Bo, just curious, what makes you think that might work?

I'll try migrating when I get home tonight.

If it works then it's a problem, it means I can not delete the AUD.INI and
let Sonar5 re-profile my card. Which is something I *can* do with Sonar3
and Sonar4.
