From: Iplayjazz on 7 Apr 2008 11:44 number 1 for eq. I had to laugh when Rick brought up the similar melody thing. We have a running joke in my church band about every CCM or Praise and Worship song having the same chord progression. I V vi IV this song has it too. Makes for a lot of repitition in melodies. :)

From: Donk on 7 Apr 2008 17:45 I'm a newcomer to the group but thought it might not be too intrusive to offer an opinion. After all, it is just my opinion. :-) I like them both. They're different but I find it difficult to say that I like one better than the other. I like cocker spaniel puppies and I also like "55" Studebakers but they're also different. I'm very impressed with the song, the performance, the mix, the whole package. I like it. If I had a gun to my head I guess I'd say no 1. There are some very talented people in this group. So far, I've listened to some of Glenbo's stuff (very prolific) and Rick Paul's. I've enjoyed and been impressed by both. I like #1 best. I would prolly like #2 if I hadn't already heard #1.
