From: maddie on 24 Jan 2006 11:52 We have always used soundforge for our director external audio editor. We, of course, double click on the mp3 audio file cast member and it goes directly into sound forge. we were previously using sound forge v4.5h which required an mp3 plugin. All worked fine with this version and setup. The problem began when we updated to Sony Sound Forge v8. We are unable to double click the cast member and use Sound Forge as the external editor as we did before with v4.5h. Any suggestions on how this can be resloved?

You'll need to set the preferences to point to the new program for the various sound formats. In D8.5.1 (Win) this is done under the menu, File->Preferences->Editors. -- Mark A. Boyd Keep-On-Learnin' :) To email me, make a request in this newsgroup. White-list for this eddress has been in effect since the 90s.
