Prev: Why can I not use ipod songs for my presentations?
Next: How do I embed a sound file in Power Point?
From: angelousbabe on 11 Feb 2005 14:37 I have managed to get a song play through the whole slideshow that I have created but because the song is on my machine when I send teh presentation to another user the song does not play. How can I embed it in my presentation so other can hear the song? I am using powerpoint 2000 and I have tried the edit sound option but there is nothing there that says if the song is contained in the presentation. Thank you

That means that your file is linked. You must send the file along with your presentation. See the following: Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or email a presentation http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00155.htm -- Sonia Coleman Microsoft PowerPoint MVP Team Autorun Software, Templates and Tutorials http://www.soniacoleman.com "angelousbabe" <angelousbabe(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:0BC468BF-10C7-4F55-B999-214409068FC3(a)microsoft.com... >I have managed to get a song play through the whole slideshow that I have > created but because the song is on my machine when I send teh presentation to > another user the song does not play.
