From: CeceM on 29 Nov 2005 13:34 I created a link and specified the target as "blank" so that a new browser window opens when the viewer clicks that link. I want to specify the size of this new window. One goal for example: on a webpage there is a thumbnail picture that says "click to enlarge", then a new window opens up with the bigger picture in it, but this new window fits the picture size, and doesn't take up the whole screen! How can I do this with DW8?

From: CeceM on 29 Nov 2005 14:39 Thank you for the suggestion .....but.... I am pretty new at web design, and I am unsure about "extensions" (I have never used them before and don't really know what they are). Is there a way to specify new (target: _blank) window size within DW, with the tools available in DW8? or if extensions are my only option, can I learn more about what to do with an "extension" somehow? Also, I have a java script drop-down menu on my pages as well. Would that conflict with any "extensions"?
From: E Michael Brandt on 29 Nov 2005 15:38 There is really no good way to do this, or at least do it easily, with DW alone. That is why so many folks use JustSo PictureWindow3 for this purpose. I would be happy to help you learn to use Extensions, which would open a whole new world of possibilities to you, by helping you with Jspw3. http://valleywebdesigns.com/vwd_jspw3.asp Simply email me off-group. emichael brandt michael a t valleywebdesigns d o t com CeceM wrote: > Thank you for the suggestion .....but....
