From: Bernd Mueller on 15 Aug 2007 00:44 Hi there, i hope someone can help me ( or give me a good hint ). I'm using Fedora 7 and beside a X-Box Gamepad a very old MS-Sidewinder Gamepad ( without rumble, connected to the Midiport of my SB-Live Platinum 5.1 Soundcart ). The problem is, i can not use the Sidewinder anymore. When i modprobe the sidwinder kernelmodule i get this "error" : sidewinder.c: unknown joystick device detected on pci0000:01:0a.1/gameport0, contact < --- removed - i - dont - like - spam ---@ucw.cz> sidewinder.c: ID packet, 48 bits. [fbffffffffff] sidewinder.c: Data packet, 16 bits. [bfff] Does anyone knows how to get it back to work? thx Bernd
