From: Saragrace on 13 Feb 2008 12:25 I had a nightmare with Norton 360 on my Acer TM C110, so last weekend I restored the machine from the system restore disks to start from scratch. I did the system restoration, then did all of the Windows Updates, and also did the Acer firmware updates and updated my wireless drivers/etc. Now, the machine is like new except for errors on startup. On some startups I get the "serious error" message and error reporting; sometimes I don't (but the errors still show in the system log). I searched MS's KB but none of the articles apply to my setup. Is anyone else having this on a tablet pc and/or have you figured out how to address it? I'm getting System Errors (102) with an eventid of 1003. Description is: Error code 1000000a, parameter1 f896a2c0, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000001, parameter4 804d9b68. I get multiple similar errors on each startup. I get another error on startup, also, about my parallel port driver, eventid 7000. Has anyone else run into this type of thing? Any tips/suggestions? Thanks!
