No biggie. You don't even have to crack the case of your PC, or avoid your
laptop. Just get one of those USB-to-PATA&SATA adaptors for about $30.

Been a long time since that was a problem.

One never knows for sure about *any* backup medium.

I recdently went through a stack of archived hard drives, and they were all
still operation. They were in the 10 GB range, so you can guess how old they
were.
