Is this a standard ribbon cable?
Bought one of these cheap ide 2 usb adapters. It works, but the cheap ribbon cable they sent me broke in two days (only 2 inches long). It appears to be a standard ribbon hard drive cable. WD Passport - WD Sync
I have a WD Passport drive that has lost many files. The major problem I have is that the system uses something called WD Sync that encrypts the files with 128 bit encryption - I think AES.
