Is PCI enough for SATA drives? Most of the other eSATA multi-port host adapters I've seen are PCI-X or PCI-Express for better throughout. Cheers... 10 Nov 2007 08:49

I got a ton of ecc errors during the surface scan (so many that it caused HUTIL to crash). I tried a low level format, and that also failed with an ecc error. Now I wonder what will happen when I send it back to Samsung. Will they... 10 Nov 2007 08:49
WD750 on SATA 150 ?? Western Digital had a problem with their sata300 drives not being compatible with old VIA chipset SATA150 ports. Has the new 750 Gig SATA300 model fixed this problem to be backwards compatible with a jumper or autodetect ? Oddly enough the reviewers never seem to cover this issue. ... 10 Nov 2007 08:49 |
