whenever i try to make a graphic turn into a transition by right clicking on it
and going to transition i get this error below. Also there is no preview in
the box, can anyone help me? i tried to find an email address to ask someone
from macromedia but i couldn't find one. This was happening to me in flash MX
2004 and when i couldn't get round the problem i downloaded flash 8 and the
first i did was try that transition, but all i got was this again:

Exception in exportPreviewSWF: TypeError: instance has no properties
Error opening URL "file:///C|/Documents and Settings/Alex McMorland/Local
Settings/Application Data/Macromedia/Flash 8/en/Configuration/preview1.swf"
Exception in reverse: TypeError: tmpFrame has no properties

if anyone could shed some light on the matter it would be much appreciated
because i am stumped!
