FIXED apcups worked in 10.2, not in 10.3 :(
Turns out it was a bad usb connector. DOH! Then a new problem, apcupsd wouldn't communicate with the UPS correctly. I removed the version that I got from the standard Opensuse repo, and downloaded the latest source and built it. Now everything is working. _______________ hello friend! I have used the fast mirrors on skynet.be, but they haven't been available for the last two weeks. Does anybody know whether this is temporarely or permanent? Gnome and KDE

Sound has died. (Suse 10.3)
After walking awy from my PC I returned to find my son merrily playing round with KMix. I think you can see where I'm going with this, but now I have no sound at all and have no idea what the previous settings were.
