YaST "packages haven't been found on the medium" error - pls help

troubleshoot lockups
I've got a machine here running Suse 10.0 and it locks up hard about every 48 hours. I've been poking around and haven't found much but I have suspicion that the lockups are dhcp related. 10.1 installation cannot find hard discs

Nvidia driver
I tried the one-click install for the NVidia driver; I have GeForce 6600GT, and it wasn't listed in "legacy" cards, so I chose "new" button. I got lots of dependencies. Odd thing that I'm trying to figure out. I was asked to re-install gnome on a SUSE Enterprise server 10.
