Update 10.3 and Now It Wont Boot

Clone or copy failing hard Disk
I have a dual core 64 bit Athlon based box running Suse 10.3 with a failing hard disk. It'll run for 4 to 8 hours then freeze. Reboot and the disk is missing from the BIOS. I've got a machine here running Suse 10.0 and it locks up hard about every 48 hours. I've been poking around and haven't found much but I have suspicion that the lockups are dhcp related.
