11.0 Problems with Desktop
I've upgraded to OpenSuse 11 and Kde 4. After downloading and installing the latest version of Netbeans (the java IDE) the Netbeans icon does not appear on the desktop although there is an entry in ~/Desktop. Any ideas. Regards ... 25 Jun 2008 03:42

Anyone having problems with nvidia and 11.0?
I've got a GE6200 and when I install the nvidia rpms via yast and restart X, it fails. I can easily get things back by copying the original xorg.conf back in but I'm stuck getting the nvidia rpms instaled. Any pointers? ... 25 Jun 2008 07:47

I tried upgrading from 10.3. At the end, the system said there was an error installing a package (not telling me which one), and it never finished the install, leving me in an unbootable situation.
