From: jhleslie on 4 Apr 2008 14:48 Hi, I have a Nokia 6500 slide and I want to switch applications. At the moment if I have, for example, the music player running then I can send it to the background so that I can use other functions of the phone but then I cannot bring it to the foreground again without finding the application and re-launching it. On a previous Nokia I just held down a button for a moment and a list appeared showing the active applications, then I just moved up or down the list to the one I wanted. To put it another way..... What am trying to do is the same as using Alt-Tab in Windows or OSX This has cropped up because I have loaded Google mail and I want to leave it open all the time, however I also need to use the thing as a phone! So I need to be able to send Google mail to the background. Has anybody got any ideas? Regards James
