I am just starting to learn how to use Director and I am getting confused on
how to create a text rollover, cand someone please help me and explain to me
step by step (if possible) on how to create one. I am not really good with
coding so i am having a hard time understanding the codes.

Can you explain what you mean by text rollover - are you talking about
tooltips, or ...?

I am creating a porgram for a client, and he wants to see where the link to the
next section is. So essentially i want to create a visible hot spot to show
where this link would be on the page. So i believe that would take me in the
direction of changing the color of the text or the cursor when the mouse is
moved over that particular link

Can you achieve what you want using the hyperlinks property of a #text
cast member? Check the docs.
