E-mail incoming text appears in red. Desire black. Do not know how to
establish this format.

Do you mean that the text in the BODY of the message is red, or is it
the header in the message listing pane?

Gordon, it was in the body of the text. At 3 AM today I located the
following sequence: Tools, Options, Mail Format, Fonts.... When composing
and reading plain text, Font, Color. And it was showing red. Changed to
auto and it appears as if that corrected the problem. Time will tell. As
always...operator error, or the 'nut behind the wheel' effect. Thanks for
the feedback as I was about ready to throw a shoe at this thing.
