Do the headers support that? Just want to be sure, before this gets

Actually, the mysterious Mr. NNTP posted
the last post from a private Comcast account
in Woodinville, WA. (The first post came from
an MS server.) So apparently Microsoft is also
taking away the email accounts of their
employees. But it's not clear whether that's
because email, like NNTP, is outdated, or
whether it's just another part of the effort to
"shift available resources" and support more
"compelling online browser experience".

Funny, I hadn't heard they were going bankrupt. :)

The NNTP newsgroups are running on a dead version of their technology - one of the reasons cited for
the shutdown.

Doesn't look dead to me.

You must be a "death panel" supporter. Someone who is no longer productive should be taken out to pasture. If MSFT put an end of life date on your parents, would you kick them to the curb as well? I bet you would. Or are you finally ready to admit that just because something is old and past it's prime doesn't mean it "dead".

I don't typically equate human beings with software but we could make an exception and establish a
"death panel" for your situation, if that is what you are asking. Is your mom evicting you from her
basement? ;-)

Kidding aside, it was only one of the reasons cited.
