Hi,

I want to customize a blog template that I downloaded, but part of the
header graphic background is a PNG or JPG file, which is basically a
thin vertical image which repeats when displayed.

To create a replacement image, I would like to use the same
background, i.e. make a background in Fireworks using that small tile
and place my image on top and then export.

Is there any way of using an image as a background ... I know I could
just open an image and place my graphic on op, but this is just a thin
slice and want to get it as a large repeated image to make my
background.
