I am trying to write a diver of my balance, the mode of this balance is ohaus av213, and I download the driver from NI website, but when I try to run the "continous measurement", there is an error said" VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0015) Timeout expired before operation completed" . I don't know how to figure it out. Could anyone help me, I really appreciate! Jerry

I haven't used the instrument but you should check a couple of things. First, are you able to get any other VI to work? Second, the example you mention has a note about setting up the balance before running the VI. Did you do that? Are you sure that you are using the correct type of serial cable (null-modem or straithg-through)? Have you tried some simple communication with Hyperterminal. |
