From: Charly on 4 Dec 2007 09:41 Dear all, I have a TomTom5 GPS software on a SD card that worked fine on my Tungsten C. A friend of mine had TomTom6 on his Palm and I wanted to give it a try. So I took his SD card and put it my slot. OK. TT6 is not compatible with a TC so it crashed. But now I cannot run anymore my TT5 !! It seams that TT6 installed/updated some internal files on the device and I can't figure out wich ones... Ok, a hard reset might be the trick, but I'm always afraid of such things. And my friend told me that it might be not enough ??? Can anyone help please ? I already looked for that on the web, without success... Thx Charly

I post it here in case it can help : The TomTom6 install in the device RAM a "launcher" called "start.prc". Remove this file, and you will run the TT5 again :-). Charly |
