So should I leave my Tools set to 'classic' and avoid using the other settings all together?

Yes, please leave your tools to classic. About 25% of questions from beginners
reach 20 or more replies only because they use flash components and forget to
mention that in the initial question. Almost all answers you get will assume
you use classic components, and they [b]do[/b] work differently.

Thanks guys. I've already noticed that the weird double-click bug I had went away as soon as I switched to the classic buttons.
