Any one know how I can add the trademark character and the registered trademark
character to a text box?

I've tried several different ways using ™ or U#2122 neither seem to
work... Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

In Windows, hold down Alt, then type the following in sequence: 0153
(tm) and 0174 (r).

P.S. On my machine, at least, this requires the keypad numbers (to the
right of the keyboard), not the numbers along the top.

I guess I wan't clear in my first post... I can get the symbol to display
properly when it is coded directly into Action script, but not if I put it into
an external text file that gets loaded dynamically. ... Has anyone encountered
this before?

Here's another one... for some reason the text box refuses to display a
capital J

Odd. Especially if it does show when supplied via ActionScript. Have
you embedded the font outlines for these characters?

This is starting to get a bit weird. Are you using an usual font?
