Adobe Audition is I believe a Mac app which should take care of your
needs. Natively of course with no BC. I'd download the demo to be sure
but it's got everything SF has and maybe more.

Audition, the old Cool Edit Pro, is a PC application. Unless something has
changed that I haven't heard about.

That's the first thing I checked on the Adobe website. It's seems to
be PC only.
