Trouble downloading Quicktime 7.0.4
in [UK Mac]

From: Ivor on 12 Jan 2006 08:03 Hi all Because I'm still on dialup (YES I know!) I can't stay connected long enough to get QT 7.0.4. ISTR in Software Update you could resume downloads but I've tried D/L this morning and it doesn't seem to be working in 10.4.3. I've got the 10.4.4 update which I downloaded in iGetter because I got the URL for it. But there doesn't seem to be one for QT. MacUpdate's link is only for 7.0.3. Anyone got a URL for 7.0.4 I can put into iGetter and download that way. I don't know if I've explained that particularly well :-) Thanks Ivor

Just got back in and now have the download (MUST get Broadband). Er..plonker type question...where's the receipt to delete? Just tried the Installer up to the point of Install and it looks like it might do it, but if you could point me towards receipt that would be useful. Can't see it in Spotlight. Ta Ivor |
