I am trying to configure my hotmail e-mail address with outlook 2007, but I am having trouble. I already followed the wizard, which made me enter my account info, now when I open outlook I am asked for my User Name, and Password, for, I am guessing the hotmail server, I enter my e-mail and full name, as I dont know what they mean by user name, as I dont have a hotmail user name, only e-mail and name. I've tried entering all possiblilties, can someone pleae help me out here.

hotmail block outlook and outlook express for free users, you have to pay for their premium accounts to be able to use mail clients such as outlook

Are you serious? So I wont be able to use Outlook at all with the free windows live accounts? What if I were to get a gmail account?

If you get yourself a gmail account, you can forward your hotmail email to gmail, then set up gmail
with outlook, that way outlook can then retrieve mail from hotmail.
