Twain Scan Once Save Twice

And save it twice; one saved file being in red dropout with just the black and white, and the other saved file having the red converted to black and white. Does anyone know if this is possible interfacing with the Twain driver? I'm using a Cannon 9080 scanner. Thanks Jon
