Question One: Has anyone compiled a list of HP50G compatible programs
originally written for the G+ and HP49?
Quwstion Two: Is there a version of the HP Program Development Link
available besides the Demo available on Eric's web page?
I ask for one of my students.

Is not the entire series generally mutually compatible?

Every program I use on my HP49G+/50G (if I ever actually do use them)
was first developed or running on Emu48 emulating an HP49G;
I even do a "memory backup" via ARCHIVE on my emulated 49G,
drop onto an SD card, and RESTORE on my 49G+/50G,
with 100% compatibility (they are even, in fact,
all using the same ROM version, although that isn't required
for "supported" entry points to all be identical).

Just clear flag -78 before trying to use your USB cable :)
[it's the new flag which selects the serial cable instead]

[r->] [OFF]

The second question was asked by my former student.
What he was asking was will programs written for the 49 or 49G+ work
on the 50G "out of the box". I told him that most pure userRPL
programs should,but was not sure about systemRPL, etc.
Also won't even some 48 userRPL programs work,because the 49.49G+,50G
super sets of the 48GX?

I can“t see flag -78 on my HP 50g. (Flag listing jumps from -76 to
-79). How can I modify that flag?.
ROM 2.09.
Thanks.
