wget problem
I'm trying to get some files with the following command: wget -N -t 5 -r -nd --accept .tar.gz ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/pub/mmdb/cdd/little_endian This command normally works for me, but for this particular site I get some odd issues. 1) some files are always downloaded regardless of whether they've changed o... 28 Sep 2007 12:24

One will be a timing pulse with an absolute maximum frequency of 12kHz There will be an reset pulse every 10,000 counts We could probably work with 6kHz and 5,000 counts but the extra resolution would be *really* nice as i... 10 Oct 2007 16:59
2 DVD drives - one plays films, one doesn't
Hi All, Just got a shiny new PC which came with 2 DVD drives - a DVD +/- writer (hda) and a DVD-ROM (hdb). I've installed openSuse and added all the codecs. The writer plays all DVDs without any problems using Xine, but they won't play in the second drive (even after updating my / dev/dvd and /dev/cdrom links) b... 22 Sep 2007 19:03
