How to send HTML email from Mail.app ?
I know, I know, but this isn't for me - it's for a "friend". I need to send a fairly simple chunk of HTML in an email from Mail.app. I've tried looking at incoming HTML emails to see how this works but haven't managed to fathom it. Anyone give me any pointers ? Paul ... 19 Jun 2008 03:26
VLC and flvs
I have a flv file downloaded from Youtube (it's a test, a ukele piece saved via the 'activity' window of Safari on Anne's TiBook). I've given it an .flv extension. The TiBook is running 10.3.9, and runs other files like .avis perfectly well in VLC 0.8.5, but it won't play (or recognise in any way) that flv file.... 19 Jun 2008 01:24

Little script for Erage to Address Book?
It's no good. I still haven't made the jump to Apple Mail. Tiny reasons, but I haven't gone there. I'm just wondering if there is or could be a little thingummy that popped up whenever I add a new email address to Entourage's address book, and it got added to Apple's Address Book as well - or if that whole thi... 19 Jun 2008 13:43
Viideo file to DVD question
I've almost got my head round converting .ts files from my Humax. Handbrake is, as I type, encoding the Dams Raid thing from C5 last night from TS to MP4. What I want to know is how to convert this to DVD, preferably without buying Toast Titanium. Tim -- Tim Gowen ... 20 Jun 2008 22:31
Tips for writing a script for Mail.app
I need to write a script to use to fine-tune triggering of a Mail.app rule to send out of office autoreplies to emails. I'm mainly happy with what Mail does with its rules, except that I can't tell it to only send an autoreply once to each recipient. i.e. if Bob sends and email on days 1 and 3 of someone's ... 19 Jun 2008 05:29

FF3 tab behaviour
FF3 has changed the bookmark "Open All In Tabs" behaviour. Previously it used to replace the current window with the contents of the tabs. Now it adds those tabs to the existing tabs in the window. Which is utterly useless if, like me, you used to use it as a quick way of reloading a particular set of tabs. ... 19 Jun 2008 12:41
