Hello,
On freshly installed Windows:
mouse pointer is frozen on Windows startup, but keyboard is OK.
It is USB optical mouse and there is a light under it.
When I unplug it and plug in it again the mouse start working.
I tried it on all USB slots my computer has and the behavior is the same on
all.

The same mouse works fine on another computer.

I appreciate your advice,
Claire

One last test...

You say the same mouse works fine on another computer....

But does another mouse work fine on the computer where the mouse in question
has the issue?
